Captain America Brave New World Review

With the new year comes new movies- this is especially true for Marvel studios, which has a lineup of 3 new films, one of them being Captain America: Brave New World. This movie is about the new captain America, played by Anthony Mackie (Real Steel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier) trying to figure out a nefarious plot against the new president of the United States, Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Indiana Jones).

Now this movie wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The actors did the best they could with the script, but at times the script felt like a Frankenstein of previous  Marvel movie scripts, notably The Winter Soldier. There were also multiple plot holes that didn’t make sense looking at the entire marvel cinematic universe as a whole. The CGI was great at some points but weren’t at others. This movie isn’t really worth watching in theaters but would be great to watch with your buddies and to not take the movie seriously.
