High School Softball

For Blanchet’s high school, there is a variety of sports to choose from for the springseason. Every year for at least the past three years, it has been a gamble on whether or notBlanchet will have a high school softball team. In the early stages of forming the team for the2025 season, the meetings consisted of six girls. It slowly, but surely, rose to twelve girls, andeventually reached the current number of fifteen. The pitchers and catchers for the softball team

have been practicing since the second week of February, but the whole team started practicingtogether the first week of March. There are two juniors, eight sophomores, and five freshmen. 

Along with the new freshmen, the softball team has two new coaches. Coach Liz and Coach Hallie. Both coaches played collegiate softball, one as a pitcher and the other as a catcher. Together they plan to have an amazing season filled with fun memories, learning experiences,

and good music.
